BetterTogether is a fun and exciting weight loss app that you can experience with your friends and family. Set up challenges for yourself and your friends with targets, track progress, and chat on how you can lose the weight Better and Together!
BetterTogether’s idea of losing weight together with your friends was a huge hit as the app racked up 10k users quickly. The early app held potential but lacked scalability to accommodate user growth and retain them. The client wanted us to solve these issues while improving the app for bugs and enable it to grow in the future.
The early app was technologically constrained and not designed to manage the traffic growth. Failure to manage this traffic would eventually result in app crash.
#The existing app architecture did not allow expansion and would cause a crash. Even so, the user interface lacked appeal and did not add to a great user experience.

We addressed the challenges and offered to create a scalable app that would accommodate more users and keep growing. The team also proposed to redesign the architecture, user interface, and add new and improved features. The UI is simple yet engaging enough to keep users view insights and monitor their daily progress.
The team designed a completely new user interface that fulfilled the new guidelines and would become more visually appealing to the users.
Features like steps progress and background step sync, and notifications to update users on daily goals; along with the new UI create a holistic environment for weight loss.
The subscription model with its renew features allows better revenue generation. All this while providing high-quality and personalized features like access to personal dieticians, daily diet plans and tips, etc.
